Founded in 2022, out of pure passion.
Lumi Powersports started the way most good things in this sport do: with a couple of friends who couldn't stop thinking about snow. Adrenaline runs through our veins, and we've been fortunate enough to spend our whole lives on a sled. What began as a passion project quickly turned into something bigger.
Today Lumi is a full-service shop and parts outfit rooted in Illinois, with a second home in northern Wisconsin and the mountains out west. We build, tune, and repair the sleds we ride ourselves, and we treat every customer's machine like it's ours. Whether you're chasing trail miles in Wisconsin or boondocking in the backcountry, we're here to help you ride harder and get home safe.
Lumi Powersports is much more than a business. It's a community of sledders we care about, and we'll always do everything we can to guarantee 110% customer satisfaction.

Mike Zelko
I've been fortunate enough to snowmobile my entire life. My family owns a cabin in Eagle River, Wisconsin, the snowmobile capital of the world, and I couldn't be more spoiled having that as my headquarters. Growing up, I'd ride my dad's 1996 Yamaha Vmax in circles around the house from sunrise to sunset, having the time of my life. The day I turned 12 (2006) I got my snowmobile safety certification, and I've been ripping trails ever since.
In 2017 I bought my first mountain sled, a 2015 Ski-Doo Summit, and the trail trips gave way to more and more weekends in the U.P. Then in 2020 I took my first trip out west to the Snowies, and I was officially hooked on mountain riding.
I've always been extremely mechanical, with an eye for building and assembling anything properly. In 2017 I graduated from SIU with a bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences and Arts – Automotive. I figured I'd end up working for one of the Big Three auto manufacturers, but it turns out a cubicle isn't the life for me. Lumi is my true passion where the wrenching, tuning and riding finally came together.
Frank Travaglio
Getting into the powersports industry didn’t just happen by coincidence. I fell in love with cars and motorcycles at a young age. My obsession grew into everything that had an engine. Luckily, I was able to grow up with friends who shared the same passion. Particularly, my biz partner
Mike was the one who introduced me into trail riding towards the end of high school. Because of this, my addiction started.
I continued my love for automotive by graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Automotive Tech and minoring in business. I have a true passion for attention to detail. Some may call this OCD. I founded Luminescent Detailing Co. in 2017. We organically grew to over 10 employees in an
8,000sq ft facility.
Over the many years of riding, I was able to take my riding skills to the test out west. I quickly learned that the mountains are no joke. I have been fortunate enough to take multiple trips out west yearly not only enjoying this sport to fullest but learning how to make these snowmobiles
perform at their highest capability.
With my business and auto/powersports background, we will continue to provide the best products and knowledge while maintaining top tier service. Lumi Powersports was built on integrity, ethics and outright passion for snowmobiling.

Noah Prestage
My name is Noah Prestage. I’ve been riding snowmobiles for 22 years. The U.P. of Michigan has always been my home turf. I enjoy a few trips out west each year with my closest friends. Sledding full time is a dream job and a goal of mine. Luckily, working with Lumi and being an ambassador allows me to be one step closer to my goal. I also enjoy keeping them far from stock. If I’m not riding, I’m putting more aftermarket parts on my sled to enhance my riding experience and make it my own one of a kind snowmobile.

Snowmobiling has come a long way from when I started when I was 3 years old. Riding snowmobiles has always been a key thing in my family as I grew older. Back then we pounded hundreds of trail miles per year in Michigan. Now I’m solely off trail riding and I couldn’t be more happy. The past couple of years have been amazing in the beautiful upper peninsula.Â

Also, I run the “Michigan Backcountry Addicts” Facebook and supporting media. Every season I look forward to hosting the Midwest Sled Fest Seney Spring Sendy. Snowmobiling is my passion, and I look forward to it every single day!

Kaleb Kindsvatter
My name is Kaleb Kindsvatter, also known as, Kbob. Snowmobiling has been second nature to me from young age of 3.Â

Snocross racing was a must to me as I grew up. When I retired my Snocross career at age 15, I quickly transitioned into off trail riding in the U.P.

I am beyond grateful to have Lumipowersports in my corner when it comes to tricking out my sled. Now I can hit any jump in the U.P. With reliable parts, which makes my weekend trips even more enjoyable.

Kyle Pace
My name is Kyle Pace born and raised in the beautiful snowmobile capital of the world, Eagle River Wi. I’ve been on and around snowmobiles since birth. My family has deep roots in snowmobiling from the back country of Canada to the trails of Eagle River.
In 2022 I bought my first mountain snowmobile, a 2007 Polaris dragon RMK nothing special but it was the first 155 I had under me. Hopping off into small fields and ditch banging around was fun but I was hungry for more. I wanted to be better, have the best equipment, and tools to help me progress as a rider.
Along with riding I am also a Polaris snow and ORV master technician, because riding a snowmobile is only half the battle making sure it’s in top notch condition and spec’d out to exactly how I want it to feel is a crucial part of any ride. I work live and breathe Powersports it’s not just a passion, it’s a lifestyle. Lumi Powersports delivers the best parts to make that happen from strength and performance to style and comfort, they have everything I need.
